Spring-summer 2024 campaign
The Comunicancer project launches the spring-summer campaign against skin cancer on Instagram.
Through a video that promotes awareness and prevention of melanoma, it encourages participation in a draw for 4 UPF 50+ hats, thanks to the collaboration of Melanoma Spain and the sponsorship of the sun protection hat brand Illums.

At Comunicancer, we work to make health prevention communication more effective. Therefore, we have optimised this Melanoma Spain video, integrating all the elements of the Health Belief Model (HBM) to maximise its impact on social media.
This improved version reinforces the perception of severity and susceptibility to skin cancer, the benefits and barriers to prevention, self-efficacy, and the hook for action by facilitating the adoption of photoprotective behaviours against skin cancer.
